Pictures of a somewhat called life going on right now!

Sleepless nights, 5 hour nursing sessions, and again, lack of sleep had gotten a hold of me, but I am treading it well in my mind! I still would not trade it for anything. I LOVE our life, crazy, hard, hectic, but so rewarding, they make it worth it! 

Happy 9th Birthday Leif!

9 years ago our "wild man" was born.  He was our first born using a midwife.  Funny how three days ago our 7th was just born with a midwife.  Since the moment Leif was born he has made his presence felt in our lives.
As Leif gets older we can still see the same "wild man" born that day in the blizzard.  Happy birthday Leif, hope your day was enjoyable, even with parents who are bit sleep deprived from the new addition.

39 weeks today!

Yes, still pregnant and am finally ready, mentally that is! I love being pregnant, but really not looking forward to pushing out another biggie....we will see, in due time, till then, we wait and wait!

Belly cast, done!

So, this morning we FINALLY had time to do the belly cast! We are definitely on the mends around here, but still oh so tired....but I can honestly say for the first time, this past Wednesday I felt ready! I still feel like, really, I have to go through this again, but it all washes away when labor starts....I'm excited to hold her, to wrap her up in all her hand knits and all our love. The children are really excited.....especially since she WILL be born at home and they all want to be present. I mean really, how many of us can say we were in the room when you were born to our siblings....I cannot wait to give them that gift of a lifetime....yes, I am ready, finally!

Tears of Joy......

Ok, this is not the baby post, yet, but is very close to it! I have met a wonderful women named Iris from Germany through Raverly. We have exchanged gifts of yarn and today she sent me mine, with the ABSOLUTE BEST BABY gift EVER, even out of all 11, this is the best gift I have ever gotten.....I cried when I opened it, crying now, she has touched me so deep.....I love this and will cherish it and cannot wait for the day to tell her about the history behind it.....LOVE!

Strep throat+head cold+stomach bug=BLIZZARD!

What have we been up too you ask??? I think the title tells the story! So, I have said this little one will make her arrival during a blizzard, well, I was a bit correct, I think! The part I got wrong was it was not a blizzard of snow, but a blizzard of sickness and that folks, is what we are in and trying to trench our way through!
