Bucket List, A school project by Eve

Eve had a classroom assignment to develop and present her bucket list.  Eve convinced her teacher to allow her to include her entire family and make a video.  This five minute short is a small window into our family and Eve has captured some of that magic.  Still brings tears to my eyes.  Thanks Eve.

Long time....

Well, what can I say? Not sure what to write but this year has been a roller coaster. Emotionally, physically, all of it. Many have asked if we are ok, thank you for caring, we are all healthy and well. I needed time away. I feel much better after the break. I'm not sure if I am even going to start back up in blogging again. It felt more of a chore than an enjoyable part of my life. My creativity in sharing our life has turned towards Instagram, so if any of you are on there, please follow me/us there, my username is Knittynicole.....I have always been connected to sharing though photos, not so much in words though. Phew, I do feel better about posting something, and hope to see you over on Instagram! 

Leif is 11

On a snowy day 11 years ago Leif arrived.  

Leif will always be remembered as the "snow storm baby" 

coined by Allentown's 69 News.  
Since that day he has had his share of comments

This little girl is amazing. The spunk Violet shows us is just amazing. So full of life, she is a gift beyond my wildest dreams. Violet, wishing you a snowy, wonderful 2nd birthday!

Like out of the movie Frozen....

This morning, taken throughout the last three hours....it is beautiful, but a pain when you have a sick husband and children. The many daily life happenings are taken care of by myself and the older children{whom are at school right now, lucky ones}. It ain't easy, but we will manage. The beauty in this is many, and not missed by this mama, not for a second!

As I type am updating, this happens....sleep! 

Winter, my most favorite season of all!

a New Driver..

On January 2nd Ryder on his first attempt passed his drivers test. I am the mother of a liceansed driver.I coulndt be more happy or scared at the same time. This was his first journey out by himself, he drove down to the middle school to pick up his sister Tessa. Photos of their arrival home......

Not a big deal to them, but to me and their dad, a huge sigh of relief...that night at least.
